Hazelnuts, or Filberts, as they're also known, are grown in Oregon, and have a distinctively mild flavor. These are used in many recipes as well as for flavoring coffees. Hazelnuts are one of the most nutritious nuts, providing significant amounts of B vitamins, vitamin E, magnesium, folate, and the nuts are high in fiber.
